New Year's Resolution

I always seem to have the same new year's resolutions & never seem to keep them. So this year, I am going to go about it a little differently. Here are my resolutions in no particular order:

1) Blog More. I must be the world's worst blogger:( Hopefully, I can do better even if it's just a quick recap or hello.

2) Be Healthy. Every other year it's been to Lose Weight, whether it be the healthy way or the unhealthy way. This year, it's going to be different.

3) Be on Time to Work, EVERYDAY. :)

4) Tell my family I LOVE THEM, EVERYDAY. And surround myself with good positive people.

5) Regain some financial stability. Please.

6) Step up my dating game. **laughs**

Along with all of these, I am going to PRAY more. But I don't really want to put that in the resolution catergory...

I hope everyone has had a great start to a fresh new year. Here is to twenty-ten!!

Wedding Season

Wedding Season is in full bloom! Next weekend is the first of the two weddings I was asked to participate in and I am ready. And I LURVE it! Hopefully, I will have pictures for everyone to see afterwards!

Weekend

Exciting stuff for the weekend & I thought I would just give you a quick run-down.

Sister & BIL is off to the lake & I am off to Dogsit for my cousin. Also having a mini-reunion with some girls from MMC & sooo excited about it. It has been literally years since I have seen them & we all live in like a 50 mile radius. We will be sharing our love for Mexican food:) Tomorrow, is Sav & Ryan's Speakeasy Couples Bridal Shower which requires costume & I am in charge of the cupcakes! I went shopping yesterday for mine & Erin's head pieces at Party City. They didn't have everything out yet but they did have the feather headbands!!! I can't wait to wear those and spend time with some of my favorite people (all at the same time!). Sunday, I am hosting a bridal tea for my cousin's fiance. I wanted a black, white, & lime green theme. I can't wait for it. It's a little stressful but I love having parties!

Oscar goes for his weekly check-up today. Praying for good news!

Tough

For some reason this week has been tough - the toughest I have experienced in a while. My sweet little sugar lump love muffin is having his eye removed tomorrow:( I keep looking at his pictures on my desk, in my phone, on my facebook and it makes me sad that he has lived 9 years of his live with nothing wrong with him. But now he has to live the rest of it with one eye. I will leave you guys will some photos of my heart:

Can you believe that it's August already? And not just August but Mid-August!! That's insane. Where is this year going? I have a lot coming up within the next couple of months, both good and bad. My cousin's fiance's bridal shower, my cousin's wedding, (the dreaded) removal of Oscar's right eye:(, Savannah's Speakeasy Bridal Shower, Savannah's wedding:), and last but not least Disney World! Once these festivities end, new ones begin with the holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, MY BIRTHDAY (and yes, it's a holiday), and then Christmas. That's all I really have to say today.
